Where are mulata products manufactured?

All our pieces are made in Peru, some by hand with our artisans, others in local workshops we work with directly. Every material and every step of production stays local.
How do pre-order pieces work?

Each piece is made especially for you: it's not sitting in a warehouse, and it's not mass-produced. It only applies to handmade pieces.

Here's how it works: choose your design, select from the available color palette (depending on the fiber), and pick your size. From the first thread to the final detail, your piece is crafted by artisan hands, just for you.

Production takes approximately 3 weeks to a month. We'll follow up with you until it's ready for delivery or pickup in store.
How do I care for my MULATA piece?

Caring for this piece is an act of love.
Wash by hand or on a delicate cycle, always with cold water and gentle soap.
Avoid fabric softeners, hot water, and spin-drying.
Let it soak for 15 minutes, rinse tenderly, and press with a towel to remove excess water.
Lay it flat to dry, allowing it to breathe once again.

If a little stain appears,
Gently dab with a sponge and liquid detergent, no rubbing.
Let it dry with soft touches.

To refresh between wears,
Air it out in a shaded space and let it rest for 24 hours.

To revive its shape,
Steam without touching the fabric and let it dry naturally.

To care for the details,
Use a lint stone or soft brush with love.

To keep it safe,
Fold and store it in a fabric bag, away from rough surfaces.

How do I know my size?

At MULATA, every garment is designed with intention. From signature knitwear to tailored pieces, each style is crafted using different materials, constructions and silhouettes, resulting in a unique fit. Use the size chart below as a general guide to find your best fit.

All garments are measured flat on a surface. Because our collections include both knitwear and tailored garments, fit may vary depending on construction, fabric and silhouette. Knitted garments naturally offer more flexibility and stretch than tailored pieces, so check the product description for style-specific fit information.
